The Contract Customer Specialist is responsible to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide a seamless interface of all contract projects and customer support needs. The successful candidate will instill confidence in stakeholders and meet the agreed to deliverables through a broad understanding of the project and customer service functions. With natural leadership and communication skills to facilitate transparent interactions with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the customer, department and business objectives are met and delivered in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. This position is located in Princeton, Minnesota and provides Contract Customer Service for United States Distilled Products (USDP) dba Phillips Distilling Company contract customers. Essential Duties • Maintain a solid understanding of contract customer objectives and clearly articulate them to key stakeholders within the company. • Establish collaborative relationships and facilitate status meetings with contract customer representatives and internal stakeholders. Respond to general contract customer inquiries, utilizing internal staff when necessary. • Be an advocate for the contract customer on issues that affect their contract. Effectively communicate any changes to the customer on pricing or processes to ensure compliance with the contract in place. • Ensure contract customer stage gate projects stay on schedule, resolving any issues in a timely manner. • Facilitate the resolution of concerns and complaints as they arise, ensuring timely follow up. • Lead product end-of-life cycle resolutions, specifically directing product expiration issues. • Coordinate with functional areas as required based on requests from contract customers. • Actively troubleshoots project challenges and provides recommendations to resolve issues as they arise. Monitors project performance to ensure project is on target, meeting deadlines as expected. Upon ‘major’ project completion provide input and participate in Lessons Learned to document process flow improvements. • Facilitate cross-functional team project status meetings pertaining to contract customer’s business. • Ability to read and interpret contracts to determine compliance. • Ability to review and access requirements outside the contract to develop appropriate requirements in the determination of new contract terms and pricing. • Review new contracts and make recommendations as new contracts are added. • All other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements  Associates or Bachelor’s degree, preferred; with 3+ years’ experience working on a combination of customer service, customer contract activities and/or project management processes’ a plus.  Understanding of contract terms and conditions a plus.  Proficient with Excel spreadsheets, Power Point and word processing programs.  Strong analytical and detail orientation, negotiation, and presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communications; exceptional interpersonal and collaborative ability to work in a diverse matrixed environment with a “team first” approach.  Thrive in a fast paced, multitasking environment.
